The students have been working very hard at completing their NECAP assessment. They will complete the final session of math tomorrow. Yay!
In reading, in unit 1, we have worked on many skills. We learned to sequence the events in a story, we've learned that a sentence must have a subject and a predicate. We've also learned compound words. The students are participating very well during whole group discussion and working nicely with partners to complete their tasks.
Many students are so very helpful; I've witnessed many instances of kindness in the classroom. Many students have been rewarded with stickers, skittles, or pencils because I've caught them being good and making the right choices. Let's keep up the great work in room 205! :)
